The new realization of the International Terrestrial Reference System, the ITRF2013, is currently computed by the ITRS Combination Centres combining the data of VLBI, SLR, GNSS and DORIS. Each of these techniques provides an individual sensitivity with respect to geodetic parameters which makes it important for the ITRF. This paper shows the results of the analysis of the DORIS contribution and compares them with the results of the ITRF2008 contribution. Besides other models, in particular the solar radiation pressure modeling is greatly improved and it will be shown that the DORIS results benefit significantly with respect to accuracy and long-term stability of the reference frame and the repeatability of parameter series. Finally, the increasing importance of the DORIS contribution for the ITRF will be demonstrated.
