Abstract:
Since 2007 we have routinely processed data to all DORIS satellites, as part of our involvement in the International DORIS Service (IDS). In preparation for ITRF2013, we have implemented a wide-ranging set of improvements to our processing. These improvements included the following: (1) improvements and corrections to static and time-varying geopotential modeling; (2) retuning of satellite macromodel parameters to improve non-conservative force modeling; (3) changes in estimation strategy in particular in the frequency of drag coefficient estimation, and in the strategy for estimation of empirical accelerations; (4) implementation of the phase law for Starec and Alcatel antennae; (5) implementation of the IERS2010 standards for the modeling of the mean pole and solid earth pole tide. In this paper, we summarize the changes that have been implemented, characterize the solutions we have developed for ITRF2013 (including the latest solution, gscwd25, and gscwd26), and provide perspectives on possible future improvements.
