DORIS data analyses at Geodetic Observatory Pecny
Event: 2014 IDS Workshop
Session: IDS processing for ITRF2013
Presentation type: Oral
The analysis center at Geodetic Observatory Pecny (GOP) is officially associated in IDS since 2008. DORIS data are processed using a modified version of the Bernese GPS Software. Data are analyzed in a stepwise process, based on single-satellite daily solutions and their combination. As a standard output, SINEX files corresponding to weekly multi-satellite solutions are delivered to IDS data centers. In addition, long time series of estimated parameters are analyzed, i.e., station coordinates and transformation parameters, ERP parameters, satellite orbits, ZTD and frequency offset.
Initially, the reduced-dynamical orbit modeling, based on empirical and pseudo-stochastic orbit parametrization, was used for GOP DORIS solutions as the only possibility of the Bernese GPS Software. Recently, the new dynamical orbit model is applied, including precise modeling of the satellite macro-models and the non-conservative perturbation forces. The paper presents a comparison of both approaches on the long time series, as well as the GOP contribution to the IDS combination for new ITRF, when all the data from 1992.0-2014.0 were re-processed using the dynamical orbit modeling and the recent IERS and IDS standards.
