Abstract's details
ITRF2020 and the IDS contribution
Event: 2022 IDS Workshop
Session: IDS processing for ITRF2020 and beyond
Presentation type: Oral
The ITRF2020 is provided in the form of an augmented reference frame so that
in addition to station positions and velocities, parametric functions for both Post-Seismic
Deformation (PSD) for sites subject to major earthquakes and seasonal (annual and semi-annual) signals, expressed in the Earth Center of Mass (CM) as sensed by SLR and the Center of Figure (CF) frames are delivered to the users. The presentation will summarize the main results of ITRF2020 analysis, with a special focus on the IDS DORIS contribution. In particular, the paper will discuss the level of the scale agreement between the four techniques, as well as their variations and behavior over time. Recommendations will be proposed on how to consistently use the ITRF2020 station position kinematic model that includes the parametric functions for PSD and station seasonal signals.
